If I could give zero stars I would. Most traumatic experience ever putting down our old cat, and I'll never forget the pain and suffering they put her through at the end when we wanted her to go in a peaceful sleep. Never going back again.

I have been going here many years and Dr. Hunt DOES care about your animals. She has gone above and beyond to help our animals and always gives it to us straight. She will do what is best for the animal and has always discussed options and her plans for any care, medications, surgeries etc. I feel her pricing is fair and you are getting the care and attention from someone with many years of experience.

My experience started off well. The staff were helpful for several months while assisting me with my PCS move and obtaining an overseas health certificate for my cat. However, when my travel plans changed and a friend needed to be listed as the shipper, I was told I might need to purchase an entirely new GB health certificate (approximately $500). Fortunately, both the airline and pet transport broker informed me that a simple handwritten amendment was sufficient and that a new certificate was unnecessary. This caused a great deal of avoidable stress during an already time-sensitive military move. The most disappointing issue came when my cat was denied travel—not because of the health certificate, but because the acclimation letter was completed incorrectly with an 80-degree temperature limit instead of 85 degrees. The temperature on the day of travel was 84 degrees, meaning he would have been able to fly had the form been completed correctly. Thankfully the airline ended up being understanding but this would of been a costly mistake on my end While I appreciate the help I received early in the process, these paperwork issues created significant complications and delays during an already stressful relocation.

I can’t thank Dr. Hunt and her staff enough. We were on vacation when our 15 yr old Rat Terrier had what appeared to be a seizure. Never had one before. We went to 3 vets before we found Edgewater Vet. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet techs went right to work taking care of her. Very professional. Dr. Hunt asked questions then listened to my account. Lab was drawn and she is collaborating with my vet at home. She sent meds with me in case she had another episode/seizure. I cannot thank them enough. This was at the end of the day. I am awaiting results. It’s a helpless feeling when you don’t know where to go or what is going on. Also, the bill was reasonable. Thank you again.
